MARK YOUR CALENDARS
BVB AUSTIN IS BACK FOR ITS SECOND SEASON!

This year’s game has been set for Saturday, June 5 at 2 pm at House Park (1301 Shoal Creek Boulevard)!

In Austin's inaugural game last May, the Brunettes took the crown, and we raised over $25,000 for the Alzheimer's Association. This year our goal is to raise $75,000, and we’re already well on our way thanks to the support of our sponsors, family and friends!

Blondes vs. Brunettes 2010 (BvB) is a third-party, volunteer-driven event for young professionals that brings together community leaders to support special projects of the Alzheimer’s Association.

BvB was created in 2005 by a group of young professional women in Washington, D.C. and Houston, Texas. The founders have a personal connection to Alzheimer’s disease and designed the event to raise awareness among their peers while also raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Since its inception, the event has successfully branched out to several other cities, including Chicago, Houston and Dallas, raising more than $800,000 and bringing thousands of new supporters to the cause.

All proceeds from the game and events organized by our teams will go to the Alzheimer's Association, Capital of Texas Chapter to support advocacy in Texas for the implementation of the State Plan and state-funded Alzheimer's research.

If you are interested in getting involved as a sponsor, player, coach, or cheerleader, please contact Event Chair Patti Fore and Co-Chair Susannah Davis at BvB@TXAlz.org.
